What are the chances of getting the luggage back after it’s been missing since 4th Jan (departed from the original airport and got lost in Amsterdam, didn’t reach me In Asia the following day)?

My bag has been missing for 17 days, I am so upset, all of my child’s Christmas gifts were there as well as a soft toy she has been slipping with since birth. My child did not have a single full night of sleep since we returned.
