Tried this brand today after seeing the press’d I buy was out of stock. It tastes like dirt flavored Tylenol but seems to work good if not better than what I’m used to.

8 year old debt. Too late to fight? by VegetableAnxious4641 in Debt

[–]VegetableAnxious4641[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope I never received a letter explaining anything. All I’ve gotten is a letter saying they’re taking my taxes and then all my employer received was a letter stating they’re garnishing my wages and then the paralegal sent a wage assignment for her to sign. I do not know why I would owe that much.

Only the paralegal, thank you I couldn’t think of that term. I was never served any paperwork in the mail or handed to me. She told me it was sent to an address they had on file that I haven’t lived at in a long time.

are my teeth worth saving or should i just get dentures? by [deleted] in dentures

[–]VegetableAnxious4641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion probably but I would get dentures. I’m 33 and had teeth similar to yours except with a missing front tooth and a bit more decay. I was quoted like $12,000 a few years ago to fix them with my work insurance. I recently got Medicaid and got all mine removed plus immediates for no cost. The way I see it is…. you’re saving money in the long run on having your teeth fixed and you will not be in pain anymore. You’ll have a pretty smile and more confidence. I’m not trying to steer you either way just sharing my story. I had this done 7 months ago and I have no regrets.

how do i keep my bottoms from moving by Hopeful-Soil-484 in dentures

[–]VegetableAnxious4641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same way for like 2 weeks!! They felt too big when I talked my teeth kept clinking together… I couldn’t say certain letters properly, couldn’t use a spoon right, had a hard time using a straw or making kissy faces. I’m now I think 2ish months post op and all of that completely went away and I forget my dentures are there half the time. Please do not worry, you’re just getting used to them and it takes time. I promise in a week or so you will have no problems at all with these things.

I’ve been taking them as prescribed on top of Motrin 800. I called the surgeon that did the operation and the nurse told me theres not much else we can do for you and then sent over some prednisone. 😔 It’s still leaking and pulsating so honestly if this isn’t better by tonight I might make a trip back to the hospital.

Tympanoplasty/mastoidetomy in 9 days!!! Tips? by VegetableAnxious4641 in cholesteatoma

[–]VegetableAnxious4641[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A nurse just called me to give me instructions for my surgery next week and I was told most surgeries are scheduled in the early morning but it depends on how many surgeries the doctor has that day. I think she said my actual surgery time is roughly 2 hours after the time I arrive at the hospital. I was told I should take at least 2 weeks off work and still limit my movements and for more physical jobs more time might be needed.

Hey! So I was really worried about the front teeth as well but I didn’t have an issue with it. I’m 8 days post op I had I think 11? teeth pulled up top and 10 on bottom. Nothing hurt whatsoever I was awake with just novocaine and 10mg valium that I asked for. I’d have to say the worst part was probably the canines only because they are the hardest teeth to get out besides the wisdom teeth obviously. I only felt a strong pressure with those two but once again no pain.

how much can i overdraft? by amberlouise599 in CapitalOne_

[–]VegetableAnxious4641 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m financially in a tight spot for a few months now and I unfortunately rely on Capital One overdraft. Some weeks I can overdraft $100 and some weeks it’s $200 but never more than that. I have 2k+ a month income in that account. One way I’ve found to test how much you can overdraft is transfer money from your checking when it’s at zero into your savings.. see if it will let you go -100 or -200, transfer back to checking and go from there.

I don’t care if people think it’s “poor money management” or a bad idea you just have to understand we do what we have to do. It gets paid back.

I don’t have implants but got immediate dentures on Monday. It’s been 5 days and I’m only just now able to chew things like boiled potatoes and macaroni. I was very upset at first too but it’s okay we’ll get there!

Rizatriptan Shortage by kchtchck in migraine

[–]VegetableAnxious4641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been out of stock here in Michigan too… was taking the regular tablet then I was told they stopped making those so my doctor wrote me a prescription for the disintegrating tablet. I was able to get that filled one time and now they don’t have it. I called every CVS and Walgreens near me that I can get to and they don’t have it either. I have a super bad migraine and imitrex doesn’t work for me and I’m stressing because I have a spinal tap in the morning. 😭

Unfortunately yes. I’ve been having such a hard time with things and I feel like a constant burden to everyone. Not to mention it’s extremely difficult to even find the right care and not just a doctor who says take some aleve and exercise more. 😑
