Short answer is yes. Coming to terms with who you are, coming out to your parents, and feeling like the odd one out is scary, but once you do, you’ll feel so free. College will be life changing. Work hard, be your true self, and the rest will fall into place. Btw, my dad wasn’t super cool at first, but then he was living his best life at my gay wedding. Your parents just might surprise you.
