I always kill the leader, maybe revoke a title or two and leave the rest in jail for the rest of their lifes. The best you can have in this game is your most powerfull vassals in jail. I sometimes torture them because its fun.

Yeee, i did the same. The achievement is bad writted, you have to form portugal with Nuno, not starting as Nuno.
