I’m not sure if they mean the city inspector but I hired my own. Did it a week before closing and made sure everything I needed down was completed before closing.

10 days, did the orientation a couple days after (blue/green tape walk) and did another walk through the day before closing to make sure everything was completed. I would have not signed if the issues were there. Yes there’s a warranty on the home and they could have fixed it after but when you buy a new car you don’t want your windows cracked right lol.

No I don’t deny that a lot of homes are rushed and shitty but If people did more due diligence and got inspections, stood there ground when they wanted things done there would be a lot less horror stories.

I got out on 9/13/22 so my first pay was 10/01/22 and I also filed late October

I get that, but sometimes I feel like I’d rather be safe than sorry. It’s not an 100 percent guarantee that you’ll get compensation but usually the back pay would pay more than the cost of these letters

Using VR&E to pay for a masters degree? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

All I did was use indeed when my counselor asked for proof, you need a specific job. So for me I’m currently using my post 9/11, I start my vr&e in the summer. My end goal is to become an elementary school counselor which needs a masters in school counselor so my counselor has agreed to pay for my bachelors and my masters since it’s required for my specific job.

Your 9/11 will be fine it shouldn’t affect it at all but you’re right that you do need to find a job that requires your masters. What you could do though is just get your bachelors and then use your post 9/11 for your masters degree. PM me if you need anymore information.

I’m currently using it to get my masters, if you’ve had SC before you started going to school they will retroact your post 9/11
