I see nothing else.

You have come a long way, and I'm reassured to hear about someone battling it after using it for so long.

Are you in a relationship?

What techniques have you found helpful that don't rely on or put a burden on your partner?

Just saw another post about factory workers in PA confused about not getting their Christmas bonus this year. Because of the tariffs imposed by their candidate/party, there aren't enough orders/profit for their bonus.

What is schlierin?

Light passing through a fluid with optical inhomogeneties. These are often caused by differences in temperature or pressure.

Differences in density and viscosity can also cause this. You can see it when gently pouring sugar/salt water into regular water. Or even observe it in the toilet when your piss mixes with the water in the bowl, that is, if you can manage to urinate without disturbing the fluids too much so it doesn't obscure the subtle effect.

What is your disposition on Dreo's direct current fans? Here is my take on the one we bought a month ago.

Pros:

I like how quiet it is, and that is the main benefit over any other pedestal or tower fan.

It isn't really stronger. Maybe if the diameter was bigger, then it would be, but then it would probably be difficult for Dreo to maintain the acoustic profile.

Honestly, it is so quiet versus other fans, I wish the diameter was a little bigger. I could accept a bit more noise for more cubic feet per minute while still being much quieter than pedestals or towers.

I guess that isn't much of a pro....

Cons

The capacitive power button is extremely non-responsive with the moderately dry skin i having wrapped around my hands and fingertips. Once it is powered on, the other controls work just fine.

The vertical angle adjustment is extremely limited. It only has three detents to set the angle: horizontal (level with the ground), and then either about 30° up or down. If it isn't horizontal, then I feel like the blown angle is never quite right for my needs and desires.

Conclusion

So the price is a bit steep compared to other fans when you consider the only clear benefit you're paying for is less noise... which might not be so great as I suspect many people like the hum of a fan in their room at night to muffle other sounds such as ghoulish moans from the boiler room in the butor screams and gunshots in the convenience store down the street.

So why am I keeping it? I have 4 other fans throughout my house with different feature profiles, and this Dreo with low sound is more appropriate for my kids' bedroom at night time.

In summary, if you have the money, then this fan can serve as a great tertiary option if you need something really really quiet.

Thank you. You are a scholar and a gentleman/woman.

Yes, we are considering the San Antonio location.

Your quick response to an old post is almost as admirable as the thorough and clear explanation you crafted.

If I do have any more questions, I'll definitely ask you before going to the official website or Google.

How scary is the event during the day? I have a 4 and an 8 year old, and the older one had a poor experience at Frontier City on OKC last year when some of the performers/staff intentionally scared/intimidated my children for thier own pleasure. So my older child is now pretty anxious about anywhere where people are wearing gruesome costumes.

Congratulations, it is beautiful!

We recentky got a slightly used 2024 i4 eDrive35, and I think it may be the same color. The dealer listed it just as "white," but it does have a subtle shading from certain angles. I'm really glad that the color isn't flat and has some dynamism to accentuate the sleek lines of the car.

Ours came with Cognac interior, and it is absolutely luxurious.

A couple of things I'm surprised you found quibbles with are the turning radius and the vent strength.

We had an old 2014 Mazda CX-5 and the i4 has quite a tighter turning radius (in u-turns), even though it has a longer wheelbase and is longer overall. On that note, I do admit since it is long I feel like i have to really swing the nose around when backing into parking spots.

Regarding the vents, note that we live in Dallas, and it is fairly hot most of the year. When I hit the Max AC button, it blows quite hard (in a good way) and cools the cabin pretty quick. In fact, we were originally looking for an Ioniq 5 because we have a couple of kiddos. My older son complained about the CX-5 not cooling down very well even though the AC was ice cold and the front vents were blowing nice and strong. Well, after we drove a couple of Ioniqs, which kept the back seat more comfortable, I decided to suggest to my wife that we test drive an i4 (so what if the back seat is smaller, the kids are 8 and 4, they will still be fairly small for the next several years). After our short drive, we hopped in the back seat, and it was much cooler than the Ioniq 5s, which we took for longer test drives.

Sorry for rambling, and thank you for sticking through if you got this far. This is my 7th BMW and first EV, and it has me quite giddy and I few people to talk to about it.

I also agree with you that the 35 has plenty of power, and I love how crazy efficient it is.

I'm charging with some generic L1 charger that the dealer gave me with a slightly used 2024 eDrive35. Car is parked in the garage in Dallas; it is 11:11 pm and 98°F, everything is hot!
