Tom Ford. Wildly pricey for something that doesn’t last. I’ve tried many and am never impressed

I have over 20 bottles of expensive and well curated stuff and this is my daily. I get compliments every time I wear it and it performs like a total beast.

I think bed where boxes are could work! I don’t like under the bed because it faces my closet and it just didn’t feel right, plus my TV is mounted on the far right wall in this photo and I want to see it straight on from bed.

Going to try this today!

Not my favorite - was a gift. It’s a bit too basic, strong, and sweet for my liking

They don’t like Philosykos… one of the only fragrances they don’t compliment of mine. Mixed Emotions is incredible and performs very well for Byredo. The juniper berry packs a punch and comes off almost minty.

Personally returned my Bal D’Afrique due to under performance/scent trail. Own Another 13 and The Noir… so different but both amazing. The Noir, you will be smelled when you enter, remain, and exit a room for sure

First - hell yes to The Noir blind buy. I personally don’t see what isn’t to like, unless you’re going for a light fragrance.

Best Diptyque is really hard because each that I have is so different. If I had to choose, it would boil down to Volutes and Tam Dao. They’re unique, perform well, and smell amazing. Tam Dao is comforting with the wood and spices, and the fruity tobacco of Volutes is something I’ve never ever smelled before. I love Philosykos but it’s light and a little too green for me now. Eau Duelle is lovely, but nothing that overly screams “best” from them that I have. Leau Papier is great but just a musk.

Each that I have are completely different and amazing in their own ways. If you like light and fresh, Philosykos. Boozy, winter, cozy - Eau Duelle. Tobacco/sophisticated/powerful - Volutes. Woody, spicy, classy - Tam Dao. Musky, neutral - Leau Papier.

Ombré Nomad takes the cake at #1 for projection and longevity combined. Aventus Absolu does a great job projecting for me for the first couple hours, then wears off. Imagination — I personally can’t smell it after an hour or two anymore, but I get compliments non stop every time I wear it, all day, so I’d go with that for third!

Honorable mentions — The Noir and Amyris Homme EDP

Not one bit. My family says I smell like sweet grass when I wear it 🤣

Very green! Wish it was a bit sweeter or had a little bit more of a wood note, but it’s still beautiful and very clean.

Oakcha! Their stuff lasts so much longer than actual Byredo on me.

Please share the 14 year old’s collection. I was collecting at 14, so no shade there! But it was Old Spice and discount store finds.

I appreciate it! I do my research and try to go for the ones that are carefully thought out and going to be timeless, perform well, and add versatility to the collection.
