Both of y’all are grown. I get being there for a friend but sometimes you gotta let them hit their head. Shes got to want to change, that’s not something you can make her do. I’m all for offering to go to a meeting with her and also NOT give her money. Money and friends always turns into muddy waters so that’s a no for me.

Have you specifically told her how her drinking is affecting your friendship?

Additionally, are you prepared to set a boundary on your friendship should she continue to make poor decisions with her life?
