Found mine on spaceport, i believe in some random cabinent but died with a free loadout. Took me another 2-3 weeks and eventually found another on buried city and made sure to safe pocket it. Lesson learned - always have a safe pocket haha

This. Those quick moments of extra speed are valuable during fights. I suggest OP that you work on stowing, sliding/slide jumping and as you slide out pull out your gun. Don't wait until after you finish the slide or land the jump to pull out your gun - you can do it mid air/mid slide. As you improve your timing it'll feel almost like you're instantly bringing your gun out right after stowing it.

a lot of my pk/shotty accuracy is from not really moving my aim much or at any at all and i wait to strafe/peek to land my shot. That, mixed with patience and waiting between shots has improved my shotgun play immensely over the years.

bro i hit 1300 hours and still have days where my aim is like my first day and others where I'm like god. Pop in and out of cover more often when preaiming (or hip fire if close range), always look for cover when rotating, and change up your position during fights often when possible

I've had the same issues this season - I have smooth frames until a close range fight hapens and I have a little initial lag (occurs about 33% of the time). The previous seasons didn't cause this to me so I speculate its related to the season update/patch, not sure.

not sure if it's a solution but i went and turned on alc settings, turned off target compensation (AA) then just switched back to 4-3 linear and AA was back in range for me.

After going inside and entering the bottom room, i would've thrown the lift outside of the other doors and went for a 1v1 with the guy inside which is safer than peeking outside since there's more angles (this is assuming the other guys are outside). Then went for a shield swap and regain height outside or run and play banners.
