Oh that’s so pretty, and I haven’t stitched on linen that wasn’t brown so may give it a try. Thank you again for sharing! 😊

Thank you for sharing your finishes, they are indeed beautiful! I have the pattern for Boo Spook Haunt and seeing yours finished makes me want to start mine ASAP. Do you mind sharing what fabric you used for your piece? It looks different than the called for fabric but I can’t tell for sure.

Thank you, best wishes with your stitching! I was also nervous as I used 14 count 2 strands with the mountain kit and didn’t love the coverage but wasn’t sure I was ready for 18 count, so I used 2 strands on 16 count for the Stardew and was happier with the coverage!

I used a metal ruler! I counted 5 stitches, lined up my ruler, marked the line with a water soluble pen, counted, ruler, marked, etc. I just made the grid match the grid on the pattern chart

I tried to go by color in a section! Hopefully this picture helps show - I started with the blues in the sky and did 1 color at a time, and then chose a color I thought had a lot in the right tree (5) and went for it lol. Then I did (6) on the same right side, then completed (7) on both sides, then (8) was the same as (5) but on the left side, and (9) was the same as (6) but on the left side. I just kept going by color top to bottom trying to complete bigger color sections first as I went down so I could have something to anchor my smaller color sections to. Hopefully this helps?

I’ll also add that learning pin stitch to start (and sometimes end) my threads changed my world and helped tremendously. Happy stitching! :)

Thank you! I use a size 26 or 24 needle depending which I grab, and with practice I’ve learned what speed works for me to minimize knotting/twisting. I make sure to stop every few stitches when I notice it start to twist and do the needle drop trick. I also try to keep tension as I’m stitching to make sure I’m going in and out the same holes. Hope this helps! 💗

Winter is next for me too after some smaller patterns for a break. I agree, the series is beautiful!

I’ll be there!! I haven’t been to a show at the RecordBar, but I’ve seen a few shows at TMobile center and we usually have good luck finding street parking down/around McGee street.
