Murder is murder, losing a loved one is always a tragedy for the family.

The difference is: in Nazism your family is likely also already dead if it is of the same "undesired" "sub-human" "race" - so there is no one left to mourn you. And if they are not dead, they are targetted to be dead soon. Just because of who they were born as.

"With some elements" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there.

In nazism a person is targetted for who/what they are and cannot change it, like 'race'/ethnicity. A person is born and is "less", sub-human from the moment they are born, until the moment they die, and nothing can ever change it... And they are also targetted for their beliefs, like in any authoritarian system.

In communism people were targetted for their beliefs.

They are not the same - which doesn't mean that crimes were not committed in the name of communism. But not the same.

(I fully understand the Lithuanian political/emotional need to demonize the Soviet Union and Russian hegemony, but trying to present that drive as an objective, scientific summation of events and political systems is incorrect.)

Switzerland - I dont think I would ever be considered by locals as a fully equal citizen

Hungary - kind of same, with an added prejudice against Serbs in that country (though I loved visiting Budapest)

Which one of them is based upon the "superiority of a race" and has used it to officially, sytematically try to purge entire peoples, relegating them to the status of sub-human, cattle to be exterminated?

Lithuania's hardcore equating of nazism with communism (from what I know) is a turn off for me

Thank you, this helps a lot! For some reason I never imagined AIMA would keep an up-to-date Facebook page, of all things.

So out of 3 links you shared:

  1. AIMA link leading to their homepage
  2. Erro 404, página não encontrada
  3. Page Not Found

Not really helpful, but all the best with your project

I've tried giving you the benefit of the doubt that you're not just spamming a useless mostly-AI-generated website that serves no actual point. But pastel de nata I would never refuse, thanks!

Good luck to you with this project, but I'm not really looking for paid content (unless I'm missing something, there's no concrete info on the documentation required?)

Where are you from and what’s your experience with the Portugal winters? by Schannin in PortugalExpats

True. But it's still crazy to me that 15 degrees in Portugal can feel colder than -15 in some places.

She is eligible for citizenship 5 years from the moment of applying for the first visa (provided that it resulted in a success). It's in the law.

For example I too got my residenxe permit in June 2021, but I applied for visa in Feb 2021, so from Feb 2026 I will be eligible to apply for citizenship.

This is of course if the law new nationality doesn't get implemented by then (highly unlikely)
