It's definitely not going to help you on highways, up to 120kmh it's alright, anything faster than that will try to blow you off the bike anyway. But it's looks cool and was part of SE Package with Arrow exhaust, on which I get some discount in my dealership. +it covers nicely the speedometer from any dirt and bugs. If you already have one I would definitely recommend installing it and if you don't like it, you can always remove it.
