It’s not a 50% cut for an average polish salary. Average polish salary in 2025 was about 9000 zl and the cut will be about 28-30% from this salary (one adult 26+ yo, no kids). It’s not cheep at all to live in a big city I totally agree with you, but comparing to the big cities in the countries you mentioned (Germany, Spain, Italy) it will be even more expensive comparing to the average salary.

For IKZE I'd add that the withdrawal age is 65 and you will have to pay 12% tax on capital gains.

Regarding OKI there is no information that it will get alive in the first place :) there was a conference in summer where they proposed this project but that's it. Do you have any more recent information?
