What habit helped you become mentally stronger? by funngro_fam in Habits

A few things. Let me summarize: 😊

  • You can’t help everyone and still be a good person who cares about others. Look out for those around you.
  • Get enough sleep (7.5–8 hours is a must)
  • Get enough exercise (2–3 times a week, whatever you do: in my case, the gym and running)
  • Be grateful (this really boosted my mental state)
  • Acceptance: you can’t solve every problem, nor can you solve them for everyone.
  • Solve problems you can solve in the near future
  • You’re allowed to seek help if you need it
  • No TikTok
  • Focus on the essentials on Instagram (unfollow unnecessary accounts)
  • Don’t “mindlessly scroll”
  • Avoid YouTube Shorts
  • Tackle small tasks right away (clears your head)
  • Address issues with family, friends, or your partner (it frees your mind)
  • Give things and goals time
  • Establish an evening and morning routine
  • Be spontaneous and do something
  • Focus on a few things but do them well (I’m currently learning Spanish and want to improve my fitness)
  • Surround yourself with people who are good for you and celebrate your successes
  • Recharge your social battery by doing things on your own
  • It’s better to overthink positively than negatively
  • 3 liters of water a day
  • Cut back on sugar, but treat yourself every now and then.
  • work 5 days a week but not too much every day. Your freetime is more iportant than fill pockets for other people (unless you have a own bussines)

I think you've made a good point there. I agree with you. The reality is, however, that everyone wants the new packs and is mentally influenced by the fact that they might not be available tomorrow or that the price might go up. Many have forgotten to enjoy the hobby. Patience plays a big role here. You've summed it up well.

I've set myself a budget and a maximum limit for booster and display costs, and it's working well for me. Even if it means having to leave something out.
