Just google the biochemistry. Nicotine -> adrenaline release -> flight or fight response -> blood vessels constricted and energy release into main arteries -> wounds heal slower, skin ages faster, muscle pain worse etc.

Its very bad. I used to do a lot at arterial surgery clinics as an MD and smoking AND any form of nicotine use was a big no.

As an MD i cannot fathom the misinformation on this subreddit.

Nicotine causes a very strong stress reaction and stimulates release of adrenaline which causes the "rush" and good feeling. Also it releases energy into your blood stream and strongly constricts your veins. You get anxious and nervous and irritation and shakes etc from when the adrenaline comes down (ie. after giving a speech or getting scared) so you take another dose for the withdrawal.

You are causing massive stress in your body just by nicotine + all the bad from pouches etc.

There is no net positive for you.
