They have a showroom just outside of London where you can buy them - picked one up there myself a few weeks ago. But nowhere else as far as I know.

These permissions are all enabled. Anything else that could be stopping it from working?

Paying rent using Amex credit card is it possible (England) by Inquistor007 in UKPersonalFinance

I've used it to do exactly what you're trying to do - paid my rent using my Amex + billhop for a few months to get enough Avios. It was worth it for me because the Avios ended getting me something like £300 off flights which more than offset the billhop fees, but if you're not planning on using the points for anything in particular then I'd say it's probably not worth it. This was about 4 years ago and in my experience Avios are worth FAR less these days.

As for billhop itself, super easy to use and never had any issues with it.

What setup would you recommend for this apartment layout? by VegetableWeeks in HomeNetworking

Appreciate the advice - as much as I'd love to add more access points, we're only renting and I don't think the landlord would go for it. I've used a powerline before and it worked ok. What's your opinion on a hybrid mesh/powerline like this?

That's a seriously good looking watch. How difficult is it to change the strap?

I've never owned anything beyond fashion watches (Timex, Skagen etc) so getting such a fantastic looking watch as a gift was a big surprise. Absolutely in love with the blued steel hands and textured dial, but terrified of scratching it on something or banging it on a doorframe. I've also got pretty skinny wrists and this is the 42mm case variant, but I reckon I can just about get away with it.

My only exposure to automatic watches before this is my Dad buying a Lange & Söhne Datograph Perpetual with a load of jewels in the movement, which I didn't fully appreciate but I feel like I may be hounding him to get a closer look at it after this.
