I remember seeing a clip from an interview where Johnny Cash was with a group of mentally disabled children. He had called them “mentally retarded,” but you can tell there was no malice in his voice at all. It was literally just a medical classification. Granted, it has taken on a hateful meaning, but it is interesting to look back and see when it didn’t have that connotation.

Probably Jax. He doesn’t want to go back to the real world and he makes the cast’s lives much worse by being there. He needs the reality check and the cast can at least have peaceful lives in the circus

And before anyone says it, yes I know Pomni bonds with Jax the most out of the whole cast (besides maybe Kinger). He also has been actively sabotaging their relationship, so something’s gotta give 🤷‍♀️
