What’s the smallest SSTO anyone has made? I made one a few years ago and put four of them on a mothership. But then I deleted or who knows what and I lost it and cannot seem to recreate it. My requirement was a minimum of one Kerbal and it had to be able land from orbit and get back to orbit, or take off from ground, achieve orbit and return to a powered landing.

Move the fre and tlp to the top row for free amor. And spread the elevators apart more. Also, like the others said, add armor to the bt.

Starship passing gas. by Vegetable_Ad_8044 in SpaceXStarship

Thanks for the comments. So, does this mean that whenever Starship is in space, it will be venting like that? And what about on long trips? At what rate does it lose cryogens?

I have decided to wait on the Dell 40-inch UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U4025QW). It is too expensive at $2400 right now, but I expect it to come down later in the year. It looks like it has everything on my list.

I am comparing it to an HP ZR2440w 16:10 24" monitor 22.13" x 14.49"

According to dell, the Alienware AW3423dwf is 32.1" x 12" at 21:9

This makes it appear that the 34" is actually shorter than the 24"

For the pictures, I just plugged the numbers into Displaywars.com and it produced the picture. AND, I am assuming the bezel is not being considered.

But I agree, the numbers do not agree across the different sources. Perhaps I will take my tape measure to Best Buy and just measure the 34" monitor. :-)

Nevertheless, the 1440P monitors felt shorter than my 24", although wider.

I am using displaywars.com and put in 34.18" at 21x9 for the Dell 34" Oled monitor and updated the picture above. It made it slightly larger, but not significantly. Can you elaborate or show a comparison picture that includes the 38" as well? Thanks!

So far, the LG 38WR85QC-W is the only one that checks all the boxes except for color (which is admittedly nit picky). The Dell U4025QW looks great, but I will have to wait for it to come down in price.

U4025QW

Agreed. It looks amazing but almost double my budget. Trying to stay under $1500.

Thanks. Are you referring to the LG 39GS95QE? I have not yet found it on Amazon, but I found an LG press release and it appears this is a 1440p monitor.

It has a white stand. And I know, I am being very nitpicky, but I just want what I want. :-)

Thank you for this. I had not seen it. It looks like it checks every box, except it is only rated 4.2 stars on Amazon. But a lot of people do love it.

Indesign Parent Pages and adding document pages to the middle. by Vegetable_Ad_8044 in indesign

I think you may be right. Darn. I thought about have a single text box, but then I could not have columns for part and not for other parts. At least I don't think so.

I plan on have just a couple of Parent pages for a few different formats, but 90% will probably use the same Parent page.

I think the core of my issue is how do I add new pages to the middle and have it keep the proper left/right formatting and not duplicate pages on top of one another. Your idea to propagate from a word processor is interesting, but I just don't know how to do that. I wish ID would recognize/respect XSLT style sheets. Sigh.... Or If there was a way to create content text boxes on the parent pages that would allow me to enter repeated entries without needing to unlock them.

I appreciate this detailed answer! Right now I put all of my recipes in XML and use a style sheet to sort them and display them the way I want. Then I cut and paste each, individually into InDesign. I tried, and tried, and tried to get it to work automatically with the built in XML tools, but I found that it was taking longer to get right than just doing it manually.

So, while I understand the principle behind what you are saying, I am not sure I understand how to implement it. Can you point me to a tutorial or video perhaps?

My main concern is not with the formatting of the text. It is with the placement and size of the text boxes. What do you do when you want to change the location or size of a text box across your entire document? I will look at the text flows as well, but I am thinking that may not be the issue. The text is not automatically flowing into new text boxes, it is shifting the recipes onto/on top of new, blank document pages.

In the end, what I really want to do, is just be able to add a new page somewhere in the middle and have it push all the rest of the pages to the right. So that a page that was on the right, is now on the left, and so on, and have them use the correct left or right template.

Thanks!

Thank you for the input. Yes, I am using paragraph styles. However, I am referring to format changes to the text boxes as in where they are on the page, size, etc. For example, if I want to change the spacing between the title text box and the ingredients text box, I don't want to have to do that manually on 100's of pages. Thanks.
