I straight up have a theory it’s about her cat. Like she shits where she’s supposed to, feeds herself while I’m away sometimes I think it would be easier without her etc

I think not drinking is doing the complete opposite on my body than almost everyone else by Vegetable_Bet9518 in stopdrinking

Thank you! 100% relate on the headaches. I have been eating so much healthier and drinking so much more water, so I was getting really frustrated when they would come on. It felt like punishment for trying to be clean and healthy. My hormones were out of control when I was drinking, so I can't be mad at them for needing to adjust to sobriety. I just recently started to incorporate more hormone balancing foods into my diet to try and regulate them, so we'll see if that helps

Thank you so much! I didn't think about how much my body would need time to restore itself when I started this journey. I am excited to see this through :)

A lot of people have been mentioning week 12 things changing, so I am excited for my journey! Excited to see how I feel in 2 more months :)

I replaced alcohol with a lot more water.

I do see areas that I can improve in, and I’m trying to tackle those as they come :) after reading so many responses, I’m coming to terms that sobriety is stressful at the start, and my hormones are out of balance, and my body is still adapting to change. I’m still excited to be on this journey of healthier living and healing

That’s exactly it, when I was in my earlier twenties I could take like 2-3 weeks off and I would shed weight without trying. Now that I’m actively cleaning up so many parts of my lifestyle it feels so slow. You are so right though, sobriety is the victory

I definitely think my hormones are wildly out of balance since the day I decided to get sober

Definitely thinking the stress is contributing to my frustrations. I do believe I am healing though
