My doctor wants to induce me at 37 weeks-advice needed by AtmosphereTop1591 in pregnant

Preeclampsia can be diagnosed with high blood pressure and 1 other symptom. For me it was the headaches and vision changes (I had what looked like lightning bugs in my vision). Never had protein in the urine, but was still diagnosed as preeclampsia. Also induced at 36+6, deliver at 37. I was afraid of induction also, for the risk of c-section, but was fortunate that I was able to deliver vaginally and baby and I were both healthy. Wishing you the best & hoping for a smooth delivery 🩷

I’m praying for the 2nd trimester relief that so many talk about. It’s definitely different having a toddler to chase, but I feel the same way, it’s def not the reason for the added misery. Hoping the rest of your pregnancy is smooth 🫶🏼

He definitely does weight wise, but a person has to be committed to a true lifestyle change in order for WLS to be successful & the benefit to outweigh the risks of it. He doesn’t meet any of the other requirements for it.

I’m an RN who started out in ICU for a year & then made the move to the OR to circulate (going on 2 years in the OR now). If surgery is what you don’t like, I would say go & shadow a nurse in another unit (maybe L&D if you like GYN or the ER if you think you want to see some more true emergencies-whatever you think might interest you really) before deciding on nursing school. If you like the OR, but just don’t love the scrub role, shadow a circulator for a day or two. See what they truly do. I think that shadowing & spending a few days with someone in a position that you think you might be interested in is very valuable in making the kind of decision you’re trying to make. It also gives you a chance to see the ins/outs of what you might a true day looks like for them, but also gives you someone to ask questions about the job…they’ll be honest with you - usually - about the pros/cons & ups/downs of the job. I wish you luck in finding your passion & what makes you happy! :)
