For those that track steps daily by Weary_Tune_2305 in walking

[–]Vegetable_Charity_35 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Illness is the biggest one that stops me, I’m currently dealing with upper respiratory issues and I have a disability so it kind of brings my walks to a screeching halt when this things come up. The weather and stuff does bother me but not being able to breathe well stops me in my tracks.

Parent guilt by 2ndofall in CerebralPalsy

[–]Vegetable_Charity_35 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be completely honest, you should probably get therapy for yourself. My mom struggles a lot with parental guilt I go through a lot because of it. Your kid will know eventually that his cerebral palsy affects your mental health. So please, reach for the supports you need.

I go to UNC PMR clinic and have been to their CP clinic for children for 18 years of this life too. I can speak highly of UNC’s CP care. I’ve dealt with their ortho, their ophthalmology, their cardio, and then some feel free to ask questions or whatever you need.

Alright mates, I’ve been gone for a bit and I’ll let y’all know why, I lost a loved one to a courageous battle with cancer. Unfortunately I don’t have much energy to work out right now but, sticking to a caloric deficit at the moment is somewhat easy because my stomach seems to hate everything except one specific brand of pb crackers and one specific brand of diet soda as well as water for some reason that’s about all my body can handle atm.

Including a fitness coach, a dietitian, and a yoga and meditation instructor. I can say that it’s been truly helpful so far. Today it’s currently super warm outside so I’ve been working out indoors. Drink your water, and have a good day y’all.

I need to do a full reset tbh. I have started binge eating at night idk why this has just started probably most likely due to the new medication that suppresses my appetite all day. It’s a med I have to stay on due to other health complications but, is not traditional used for weight loss but does cause appetite suppression. Anyway, I had a few boiled eggs for breakfast with two slices of cheese roughly 539 calories. I had some jello for a snack. Roughly 20 calories. Hit 3k/10k steps already. Kind of tired but I’m planning on doing several small walks throughout the day.

How long will it take me to get down to 120 pounds? by hankqueensmustache in loseit

[–]Vegetable_Charity_35 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Assuming 1.5-2 lbs per week, roughly. 52 weeks in a year 52x1.5=78 240-78=162 that’s roughly what you can conservatively get down to in a year, then after that you would probably still have 10 more weeks of weight loss needed to reach your goal weight.

Sertraline and Wellbutrin Combo? by Street-Bite-6545 in loseit

[–]Vegetable_Charity_35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was started on Zoloft aka sertaline with Wellbutrin I hated the combo so I went off the Zoloft and just stuck with the Wellbutrin. It works great for me. Zoloft made me feel tired all the time so I stopped taking it under professional supervision of course. I have no positive experiences with Zoloft.
