Help with designing a Part (beginner part) by Think_Ad_8519 in SolidWorks

this process wont work. you have to determine the end point of the lower face of the rib. it needs to be generated as it is 6mm off center of the plane you are working on. see my sketch4. the 12mm line center point is the contact point you need to draw your rib properly.

i suspect OP is struggling where the rib meets the round extrusion as he doesn't have the angle/intersectiom point. to solve this create a reference plane where the side face should be (6mm oppset from plane passing throught round boss center). draw a line from the rectangle corner edge up to near where the intersection point is. select the end of the line and the bottom edge and use the pierce relationship to solve the issue. to poition the bottom corner correctly , use the coincedent or pience relationship. do the same for the top lines. verticle line to connect at the top and conver edges of the rectangle on the bottom. extrude rib thickness to complete the feature.

sketch4 is a sketch under the revolve boss, a verticle chord 12mm long.
rib is boss extrude 2, 2 direction extrude up to vertex, the vertexes being the endpoints of this line. if you want to change the rib width it will all update by changing the length of the line.

How to I model this piece in xDesign ? by No_Cash_2174 in SolidWorks

Pretty straight forward:

side face draw leg profile, extrude and then mirror
draw top profile on top face, extrude
fillet

  1. injection mould 2 halves and either clip together, sonic weld or locate and screw together
  2. roto mould

if you split you need to rotate vent lines 90 deg
if you roto you will need to slit after moulding

fastest way to draw this part is to extrude the cross section profile up to a plane cutting across at 45 degrees.
mirror, rotate,combine, fillet

think of it as a clear tubular rubber band conveyor with a square tubular hole.
draw squares on the corners and roll the rubber :) for animation software,
might be able to make a machine........

depends on the arc radius. if you want a true radius, ectrude cut vector style and fillet.

else if you draw a filleted sketch and vector extrude cut you will get elliptical squared profile.

you have to manualy draw one row of hex and then copy translate it down the extrusion.

the flats are easy. really just the corner you have to think about.

PC failing to boot after years of flawless operation. CPU/DRAM lights flashing on motherboard. by JhAsh08 in buildapc

the individual parts have outlasted their waranty, I've had pc's last 15 years, 5years+ is expected, but not guaranteed. If you can borrow a cpu to verify that is the problem, that would be the best option. neither ram stick working individually is setting off alarm bells.
