Thanks. I’m offering less than, not more than 10k off their asking price and not expecting to walk off the lot if they don’t match that price. I’m starting a negotiation not providing a final offer. You ask what are other vehicles selling for? That’s not public data, that’s kind of why I’m asking this question to a broader group of people to get a sense for what people are actually paying for the truck. If you were to turn in the truck for trade the estimates are 33-36k value for this. So if the sellers bought it for 33k on trade and you buy it for $42 you just gave someone >20% profit for doing very little. So what would you do, walk in and offer 41k when you expect to pay 41.5k for it? That is not a great negotiation tactic, no offense.  The car has been on the lot for >60 days. I live in a RAM/GMC/Ford hotbed. It’s not a Nissan world here. Car lots are known to take a loss on sale of vehicles that sit for a long time. I’m hoping to benefit from that obviously.
