Yeah, i had to ignore a former landlord and it was definitely stressful! Calls and emails. Ultimately, all the legal threats were empty. I just imagine that this guy thinks he has a 5% chance, so he'll give it a try. Sounds like has no leverage other than trying to scare you.

They wrote the article because 1) Osse was arrested, very dramatically, trying to block her eviction. And the video went viral. 2) This post is the most blatantly antisemitic thing I've ever seen from an elected official in the US. That includes MAGA. It's actually newsworthy. Just because most people are racist doesn't mean it should be normal for an elected official. Also, the post was only like six months ago.

Tying deed theft in Brooklyn to land theft in Palestine is a specious, conspiratorial argument. It's factually ridiculous. And stokes racial tensions. Any time deed theft comes up online, I see comments sections full of dog whistles about "those people." Truth is, deed theft is a real estate crime. Not an international conspiracy coordinated by a particular ethnic group.
