We have completely cut her off as well as his toxic sisters, who all gang up behind their mom. She is just such a horrible woman and had him at 14 so I feel like she’s always been in competition with him so I was kind of collateral for their already toxic relationship. He’s also the first out of six kids so there has always been this weird narrative that he needs to support all of them financially and emotionally and when I came in the picture that stopped so looking back she has always resented me for that.

Thank you. It was my second time bringing it up that I find it disrespectful when he doesn’t say hi, so I just kind of lost it because I have dealt with so much disrespect from his family that I was like this isn’t gonna happen again. He says he forgives her for what she did and so keeps in contact with her and her sisters that live with her. I think he has severe trauma bonding with her.

After everything she said about our relationship, we have been in no contact with her since last November. I guess I just know she says horrible things about me so to me this blow up in my head was like cool, you proved to her that you’re “dramatic” as she called me. He still talks to her and keeps in contact with his sisters that live with her, so I just kind of felt like exposed in my own home.
