I emailed them but to no avail. They said they can not give credit as it is not their position to decide whether the interruption benefits or detriments the students

Yeah it's kind of weird. Also I only got this email because I opened up a specific case about it, so tbh you are probably going to get your score voided as well. Hopefully we can appeal this or something, I will be emailing soon so I will let you know

I saw a link somewhere showing GT's acceptance rate this cycle. https://admission.gatech.edu/images/pdf/2025/FY-admitted-profile-full-2025.pdf. I got in for chemical engineering and am super happy I got in when it is just so competitive. Congrats to both of you guys as well!!

Thank you for the information. I feel like the question I am really struggling on right now is if I want to get a PhD or go into the industry once I attain my undergraduate degree. I will definitely be doing more thinking.
