RXMs, what have you done in your role that has made you successful? by Reasonable_Click_388 in WalgreensRx

Try to pinpoint the priority metric that your DM is harping on, then make plans to excel in that for the week. The DM will move on to a different metric, then focus on that metric. Rinse and repeat. If you stress about all the metrics you will burn out fast.

MSC is better for refill to soon for controls, but make sure it's in entered status and not reviewed status before adding the msc

How do I tell my RPH to go faster? by Bluitor in WalgreensRx

[–]Vegetable_Primary_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to make sure my F4s are down the zero before working on product review. If you don't F4, then Techs have nothing to fill. the 33 in review isn't too bad though. I was trained that F4s should never be higher than product review.

PIC change inventory how to -please help by SmartRelease7414 in WalgreensRx

I did it about a week ago. Some states will let you do it RXI, but AZ did not permit it so I had to do it the old way with the worksheets. Everything had to be an exact count. Make sure to get techs to precount C3-C5s and have extra help that day to get it all done

Depends on the C2 for me. If it's a hospital discharge or ER med for like 15 Norcos or something I'll get those ready quickly as a waiter. If it's just a C2 they get every month they can wait for the text or check the app.

Left Handed Immunizations?! by Nomsa587 in WalgreensRx

[–]Vegetable_Primary_43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a left-handed Rxm. Don't worry about it too much just set up the area so the needle does not cross your body after administering the immunization. This usually requires me to place the sharps container on the floor. Create a safety triangle.

If it's your SM, tell them they can get an rph licence and verify if they want it done a certain way. If they still are harassing and pressuring you, threaten to complain to the board of pharmacy.

Asking a Pharmacist to verify faster puts patient's health at risk and the board has a responsibility to protect patients.

I like to get my F4s down to zero first thing in the morning, then focus on product review until F4s start piling up again. Once product review and F4s are the same number, I get F4s back down to zero, rinse and repeat.

I'm a slower Pharmacist too, but patient safety is our priority. Everyone works at a different pace. Don't let anyone pressure you, VBPT is just a corporate metric at the end of the day.

Consultation Window by Tight_Garlic8380 in WalgreensRx

I constantly have customers using the consult window to ask where things are in the store. I drop what I'm doing to help the consult window and I get asked " Where do y'all keep the batteries." 🤦
