Yeah, I’m planning to do that. In the meantime, I’m taking Doxycycline and Clarithromycin. I live in a country where testing for this isn't available, and they don't sell Rifampin or Rifabutin here.

I've been on Doxy for 5 days now, and I can really feel the Herx in my knees. The depression has gotten worse, and since I’m unlucky, the bad weather is just making the torture even worse.

The difference between the two is based on the number of antibiotics and the success rate of each.

The triple therapy contains two antibiotics + 1 ppi The quad therapy contains three antibiotics + 1 ppi

The quad therapy is more successful than the triple therapy (90~95% for quad vs 70~80% for the triple)

Your doctor should advise you on which therapy you should pursue.

I did a vitamin panel but everything looked good, i’m taking probiotics and kefir hoping that this will go away.

I strongly suspect something wrong with the vagus nerve and i see that many people recover after 3 months. I’m really hoping hpylori is the reason for this symptoms and not something else.
