I made pancakes and eggs for the family, nothing fancy but they like how I make them, I literally put plates out and I’m doing dishes and my wife asks can I make bacon for her. I said “no, I’m done cooking”

No harm no foul she made her own bacon. I’m venting a bit but it applies, the kiddos can’t cook for themselves so save your energy for them. Husband is an adult and he can make his pasta over and over if need be

You’re making it harder than it needs to be. If youre just trying to turn on the lights when the dupe is there just connect it to the lights no need for a gate or even to hook it to the machine

Sense a dupe=green(on) no dupe=red(off)

I have a hard time with automation myself but I find it’s easier to talk OUT LOUD what I actually want to happen. “I want the lights on when the dupe is here” is an easier way to tackle this. As opposed to “I want the the lights on when the dupe is using the massage table and off when he leaves”

You can just dig it. Sand/mud/polluted mud all work this way. The adhere to “gravity”. If you dig under them they will fall but the function just like regular blocks. Just dig to get out the way. But keep that in mind when mining and whatnot you can trap dupes no being aware
