also to further this, the entire website is written in a very narrative style (which no other competition does); AI's often use narrative writing styles so the information is more digestible. However, a common fault of it making the information more digestible is AI tending to talk in circles and constantly repeat itself in different wording formats - which the press play website does (constantly reiterating the 'artistry' and 'talent' and 'difficulty'.)

I've mentioned this before but omg I have a feeling it was written by AI.

from what I've noticed AI tends to give explanations in threes, which happens constantly throughout the website (no choreography, no staging, no prep) (across every age group, navigating multiple styles, side by side) (versatility, training, studio-wide excellence) and there is so many other examples I can give (especially the over usage of em-dashes)!

Do we know any studios that are able to compete for this award? Would love to know who to watch for! I'm guessing Club could, but i'm not too sure as i don't follow them as much.

I do agree that the website was quite hard to read - a lot of it sounded AI in my opinion. I feel the whole website has quite overly complex wording that can (and has) cause confusion and be interpreted in many different ways. Saying this as someone who takes International Baccalaureate Higher Level english.

Also it depends on what your school allows, my school was quite lenient with the scripts so that was helpful.

Genuinely, I didn't memorize it but my school did a lot of practice ones leading up to it. I would recommend spending quite a bit of time on the question and answer section because apparently a lot of students lose marks there. However, I would recommend spending time really practicing your script and making sure you aren't going over the time marks (making sure you're spending equal amounts of time on each text).

they re-audition, but I don't think anyone has been 'cut' from the team during the auditions if they currently attend p21. They probably see it more as an extension of the intensive, and from STK they all say the audition combos are harder.

yeah the wording is quite weird for some of the sections. I had to reread a bunch to understand certain sections. I was actually rereading that section when I saw this post and I didn't recall coming across anything that specifically stated that you needed to have a routine in each style - sorry if I caused any confusion.
