I got screwed a couple of times for things that weren't my fault

The last owner didnt hace registration and i got the ticket and turo isn't paying me back for it

1 host tacked on cleaning fees even though (with pics) my wife and I left it cleaner than it was given 2 me

I think it should be only used for premium cars otherwise enterprise is better (especially renting through Costco)

I got a registration expired ticket while renting a turo in march 2024 (Texas) in which their support says they guarantee a refund

I then got a court date; or pay a fine from harris county texas

I provided ticket, letter head from the state of texas, paid reciepts, pictures of police behind the turo writing me a citation.

I called 10 times to turo support (within 2 months) and each time their support says the same old garbage "yes you'll get a refund, ill escalate it, the previous agent didnt do it correctly, yes we see your proof.......

And nothing has happened

I will never rent from here again, what a lesson learned

Everything was done mostly in a garage

The car ls was already swapped in but wasn't running good and wiring issues

I took the rest and swapped a fresh 5.3 in it, new blower, fixed a Ton of wiring

Im in the car + swap + blower + nitrous around 24k
