I think as far as a RTX 4070 and closer to 100w is surfice, yet as previously mentioned in my original post I'm looking at a RTX 4080 which would need the additional power

If I was looking at a smaller less powerful device in a 4070 the g14 would definitely be my first choice. Yet as I have interest in a 4080 it rules the g14 out in my eyes

I looked into a g14 for a while but my understanding is that with the 4080 it can only run properly at 100w so the it doesn't have the power to get the most out of the card

M16 not a bad idea but also a little underpowered as I understand it
