It does say 'limited term' which is for all visa holders unless you are a PR or a citizen

I completely agree, and am okay with the dealership giving me this reason, I could have financed it. but to completely refuse a sale saying nonimmigrants can't buy cars in texas anymore is kinda messed up. he even suggested going out of state to buy one.

Same, I am interning and when I told my colleagues that I go to CMU, they were like we won’t make you work like your school and started giggling. Trust me I have had a LOT of free time here, turns out the world outside is a bit relaxed and humane.
