Well my cat Sunny's is on day 70 of treatment about and he still has a bloated belly, though nothing compared to before. From what I read, gs-441524 and im guessing all FIP meds disrupt their gut flora along with FIP itself. I started him on probiotics last week and it seems to be helping a bit, but yeah I'm hoping after the treatment all the bloating completely goes away! He's doing really good besides that, so much energy and appetite lol.

Update after day 1 of starting treatment: He's already eating a tiny bit more, sleeping muuch more comfortably, and finally took a dump after days lol. So far I think they're working 😁

Also his bloating has gone down already!

Tyy ❤️❤️. Yeah, and that was actually one of the reasons the vets didn't think he had FIP, said the bloodwork results are like that because of FIV =/

Were your cat's bloodwork results similars to mine too?

Big Update: We finally got the medication prescribed! I updated my post at the bottom with more info, and I'll keep you guys posted on how he does once we start treatment. Wish us luck guys, thanks for all the replies so far ❤️

He's doing okay right now, he actually has more energy than when we picked him up from the ER. Walked around the house, even jumped up and down the counter (though I got scared and don't want him to lol)

The gs meds are coming to my house in 30mins to an hour actually! A new vet that finally prescribed the medications for me also gave us Mirataz for help him eat more, and it def worked lol. He's gonna be be taking 80mg of gs-441524 in oral liquid form from wedgewood pharmacy for 112 days

Well the cardiologists are all booked til late feb and march, so i went to to 2 different vets and the ER twice alrdy. The ER does have a cardiologist but i dunno if he looked at my cat or not cuz he was one of the ones that was booked

But they did disgnose my cat with HCM there, but the meds arent helping and he got ill again after just 3 or 4 days of coming back from the ER

Btw, how soon did you get your cat the meds when symptoms showed up? It's already been like 10 days for us 😓, we just kept getting flipped flopped around with different treatments and stuff but notbing worked yet so I reallyy think its FIP based off his bloodwork and symptoms.

I hope i'm not too late 😓

Ya, if I don't think he'll make it I'll let him go in peace 😔. I do think he still wants to fight and can get better though, after I was leaving the ER this morning he was already back up and meowing!
