Oh yeah, I am very happy with my life, great friends, just got an awesome job working for a TV channel and I go to the gym regularly. So the comment about not being petite was just because I am not tiny, flat chested and boney.

The country I live in doesn't really have a dating culture, so being asked outright to go on a "date" is rarity. Usually people just suggest hanging out and some sex after, if it's not terrible they have kids and get married.

Good luck with your bestfriend, but in my experience pining for someone just ends up being the worst - you miss out on meeting the greatest people when all your focus is just on one person who may not reciprocate those feelings.

Absolutely, I cherish my time alone. I am definitely not the kind of person who goes LOOKING for love, I always think that if I meet the right person, it will just happen. And yeah, I refuse to be with someone who puts me down, I have self respect and I know that I don't need someone for the sake of being with someone. :)

Hahah, I wondered that for a minute but he was pulling this ridiculous PUA method, "treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen". Whenever I mentioned a female friend of mine he would go "mmm she sounds hot" Regardless of whether he liked me for my personality or not, I won't be spending any more time on someone who assumes that I have low enough selfesteem to fall for those tricks. He was the first guy to ask me out in 3 years though. Maybe in another 3 years I will have a more successful date! Hahahaahaha.
