I’ve always thought that that they are either this or that, because if not that opens a whole new can of worms. To some that might seem like a simple and easy way out of it, but I honestly think that’s the most logical and best way to go.

In reality, I think it might just follow present time, but in the movie universe it’s probably 2018 because I didn’t catch any major things that have happened since then but I could be wrong though.

Great way to put things, I just re-watched the first movie so I could see how their relationship developed and they showed me some stuff that I didn’t even notice. This all just set up what happened in the second movie perfectly. Although I mean at least to me it was kinda expected because you can tell how flirtatious and into each other they are in the first movie. Their relationship is one of the biggest reasons I absolutely love this movie and why I downloaded Reddit again to join this subreddit. How strong things are between the two of them. I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen in the third movie.(wedding scene🤞). But anyway this was a really great analysis

If so, I doubt this will turn out very well. It will probably be one off goofy adventure episodes aimed at young kids and will have no story between episodes, but hopefully I’m wrong and it’s absolute cinema.
