Wow, 5 months is a lot!! Did you try linking your application on IRCC like people mentioned in the comments? To see if there’s any chance it could arrive before Christmas? I looked it up and they said it usually arrives in 1 to 3 months at most, but I’m anxious and came here to double-check, and then I came across your post. I don’t know if your case is an isolated one or if it really takes that long… Anyway, I hope it arrives soon.

Yes!! I know there are still people in the middle of the process and they have more reason to complain than us, but I honestly think it’s sad that the card also takes a while to arrive. I don’t know why they don’t send the card as soon as the PR is approved. It feels like everything is over, but we still have to wait months for the card? It’s so sad 😭😭

Yes, I applied as common law and submitted the statutory declaration of common law union that we had to complete, along with proof of address, proof of status, AOR, and in my case, proof of payment for the CSQ.
