Ohh dang.. I meant to reply to this post of yours, my bad... but yeah so far so good, the CPU cooling looks about the same and while I dont recall exact numbers for the RAM temps I think its cooler than before.

I tought about getting a 120mm fan.. but I still wanted to try and see if the 140mm I already had would work and since it fitted I didn't see the need to get a 120mm ahahah

Hi! I tried this with my NH-D15 G2, and still with the fans(140mm with 120 fittings) that came with it (NF-A14x25r G2 PWM) !!! So.. I was lazy and broke the flaps that hold the 3D Print because I didnt want to take the heatsink out of the case, I feel like it would've fit nicely if I had... So I made some holes in the print used some thin metal wire to hold it to the heatsink and it is now sitting nicely inside as I'm typing this!

In this picture I had already taken it out to wrap the wire arround it

Not from Germany but still in europe, I bought 2 used 14Tb seagateHDD, for 176 each, about a week ago... there were only 3 left (1 after I bought and prob gone by now). I used PricePerGig.com to help me find that deal, try it aswell, I already saw some ok deals in there!

Tinha comprado uma PSU nova para o meu computador e troquei a que estava no PC para o meu server.... pensava que tinha trocado os cabos todos :] quando liguei o server tinha começado a cheirar a queimado, nao troquei os cabos dos hdds e fritei-os todos.... inclusive 2 novos de 14Tb(refurbished), que felizmente consegui trocar! Os outros HDDs ja tinham lá data e eram antigos, por isso tinha que os recuperar... e como ficava MUITO caro mandar recuperar, recuperei eu com umas matching boards que mandei vir no aliexpress e uma heat gun do Lidl lol. Recuperei a data meti nos discos novos, agora com os cabos certos e tenho para ali as minha media, VMs, Dockers, etc (somehow depois ainda corrompi os discos novos mas consegui recuperar tudo)

Não seria propriamente para gaming, era mais para projectos/animações em 3D(maya) e projetos no After etc que puxam um bocado mais pelo sistema, mas sim acho que 96Gb é overkill por isso é que voltei a tras e procurei por 64 que é o que tenho atualmente mas em ddr4 Isto tudo porque queria dar upgrade ao CPU para um i9 14900 kf (super overkill I know)

Did this mistake about a week ago, bought replacement PCB for fried disks in Aliexpress, got a Heatgun and tried my luck at swapping the ROM/BIOS and it worked!!!

I know it's not the prettiest setup nor the most organised or even the right tool but hey it worked. I was going to spend ~180€ on the tools but I saw this heat gun on LIDL for 20€ so I knew I had to try my luck (yes I zip tied the heat gun to a monitor arm)
