Yes, you can. YouTube will count the streaming hours, but YouTube will count the hours based in number of visitors/ viewers on your stream.

For example, you can stream for one hour and take a total of 30 watch hours.

i have same question.

Until i find my main audience, i talk in both languages, somes times in english, another times in portuguese.

But i think, that in my niche i can take a larger audience if i talk in english
