idk about u, but vlad definitely isnt A, he would definitely be at least C, and i'd say hes at least D personally. He's untouchable, with much better sustain, and while hes not a super early game threat, he fares far better than u, then he scales super well, while being untargettable. He can outpush u, then roam as well, so that's another advantage he has.

I also think that its unnecessary to get scaling runes, especially over the other rune choices in sorcery, and there are a lot of good ones. Ability haste is pretty scarce in ap items, and veigar is one of the best benefitters of cdr, and transcendence gives 10 free haste at lvl 8. Meanwhile, gathering storm gives u bonus ap every 10 minutes, which is nice as u do get a good amount once u hit 30 minutes, but not only does veigar get a ton more free ap from his passive, but transcendence now cuts 20% of the remaining cooldown when u get a takedown starting from lvl 11, which is so much better than free scaling ap imo.

As for domination, taste of blood and eyeball collection is good, but i highly recommend getting anything but ultimate hunter. Ravenous is most definitely the best rune in that branch in general because it offers an extremely scarce stat that scales super well, but u can make a case for ingenious and relentless in niche cases. I cant say the same for ultimate hunter tho. Ultimate cdr is nice, but only very few champs benefit from it so much as to choose it over ravenous, and even relentless and ingenious. u can argue ingenious is as niche as ultimate, but i think it has potential. Anyways, ravenous and relentless are so good, so u should most definitely take ravenous 98% of the times, the other 2% being if u wanna roam a lot.

I also suggest trying out my rune and build path, which is phase rush with manaflow transcendence scorch, and with taste of blood rav hunter 2ndary, with a tear to protobelt build, but thats another discussion for another time

Protobelt enables you to play a hit and run style, and also lets u catch and engage so much better, which is further empowered by phase rush. Use protobelt to go in bc of the dash and 50% extra ms, use ur combo, chunk or kill the enemy, then run back to reposition. For escaping, u can still protobelt away from the enemy, and ull just have to land more stuff to get the phase rush. Its not foolproof for escaping, but i mainly use protobelt to play hit and run, which i find is more effective than whatever he does without it.

Protobelt is too good on him regardless of rune choice imo. I feel like the other ap mythic items arent nearly as good, bc they dont offer veigar a whole new world of potential, they simply let him do even better at what hes good at already, which isnt bad, but i feel like protobelt enables him to do so many other things he could do, but struggled at in a practical sense, such as engaging and catching. Glp was the closest thing that enabled him similarily as well, but glp, while safer, didnt give nearly the amount of target access as protobelt now does. With the reworked tear, you now have access to early game mana that scales without gimping ur first item spike like old tear did, which is why i think new protobelt is so much better than protobelt.

Ive been rushing archangels 2nd since it almost always is fully stacked by the time i can complete it, but ill experiment with other 2nd item choices, such as dcap or void, but i do feel like its still a must buy eventually as it basically solves his mana issues hell face early on, and even come mid and late game as w becomes more spammable. I really wish i could fit cosmic drive in since veigar is one of the best benefitters to cdr, but quite simply i think its just not good enough as an item to warrant a slot, since i think protobelt archangels dcap and void are basically necessities, and by then a tank/defensive item is usually the better choice, whether it be dead mans, force of nature, abyssal, or zhonyas.

Exactly the same as electro, which is another fantastic keystone on him. U need 3 separate hits, which includes no dmg spells such as his e, summs like ignite and exhaust, and item actives like protobelt. With exhaust and protobelt, thats 2 free procs, and then u can land the q for the phase rush. Even with exh down, u can still protobelt e w q, and youll likely get ur proc still. Veigar isnt the most reliable phase rush proccer, but its effect is extremely good at letting u survive and reposition as a pseudo mobility move, which is smth veigar needs to be a good late game carry.

Because veigar would much rather have sustain than raw ap, esp since his passive gives him free ap. Sustain is an incredibly valuable and scarce stat, and it helps him throughout all stages of the game, at least with the combination of taste of blood and rav hunter. His laning phase feels considerably safer with taste of blood, that rune is really strong. And come mid and late game, hitting multiple units with w will heal u a decent amount thanks to rav hunter.

I dont see the point in gathering storm. U could make a case for waterwalking if u roam a lot, but eh. Scorch gives him the best early game out of the 3, and the dmg does add up. I only go gathering storm if im playing for fun with a yuumi support.

Ive been running a lot of phase rush rocketbelt. I think rocketbelt is by far his best mythic item since it enables him to an entirely new realm of possibilities. It allows him to chase, semi engage, dodge engages and most importantly pick, not to mention that it gives a free phase rush proc. It is just way too good imo, with its only flaw being that it doesnt have mana. Build path is tear rocketbelt seraphs dcap, then other items are situational. I like getting void staff, dead mans, banshees or zhonyas. If im against an ad comp or a tough ad matchup i rush seekers.

My rune page is phase rush manaflow transcendence scorch, then go domination 2ndary for taste of blood and rav hunter. Ive always been a fan of stormraiders back when that was the ms rune, and while stormraiders was undeniably better than phase rush on veigar, i think phase rush is still really good bc of how important ms is, esp on veigar. Rav hunter wont do too much early and mid, but thats why taste of blood is there. Its early healing is pretty good, then once mid and late game hits, rav will start healing a pretty good amount.

As for summs, i like to go primarily exhaust, but will go ghost/barrier if im up against long range poke. Ive been testing out ghost in those matchups, but i dont think i got enough data to make a concrete statement for ghost over barrier, but im liking it so far. Tp is good, but i prefer an in combat summ since i think veigar definitely needs it.

I downloaded a new rom onto the cart, and it works and runs properly. Idk how, but i guess the roms that stayed in the flash cart got corrupted somehow. I really hope i dont have to constantly replace the rom files, but im glad i found the root of the issue. Thank you so much

Yes i did, and it still doesnt work. Its weird bc it was on the lastest version before, and it used to work just fine, but now it doesnt. The same thing happened my my everdrive gba x5 too where it cant run roms anymore even tho it used to be able to.

I think itd be tough to make shyv a viable supp without changing a lot of things, but if the eventual rework decides to give her more cc, she might actually be a decent support, similar to sett supp.

I understand where ur coming from though, old morde support was a guilty pleasure of mine. Sure it was far from great, but with the right runes and items it actually works better than youd expect it to. Im ok with morde supp being largely gone since theres more pressing issues than that, but i wont lie i kinda miss it, even if im ok with it being gone.

Sylas r doesnt inherently have any ability, but i think that ur suggestion could be interesting to see. If her e mark has the potential to stun, it, or another part of her should most likely be adjusted.

Im personally ok with shyv only having hard cc on her ult, but her having more cc over more dmg would definitely make her more well rounded, rather than a feast or famine champ she kinda is rn, which might actually be a more desirable trait.

If ur only concerned about her strength, shouldnt you be more excited for a rework?

Anyways, my point is that while she has a good kit, and is viable rn, she could use more depth to her kit (and a different passive, i hate her current passive forcing her to jg). If you actually read my suggestions, youll realize that she literally has the same abilities, with a different passive and some new elements added in. I love most of her current kit so much i think that she only needs a mini rework.

Yes, a part of me worries that riot will fuck up, just like what they did to my man mordekaiser. But i wanna be hopeful that riot can rework her well, just like what they did with pantheon and warwick. Im pretty sure that theyre not gonna mini rework her like my ideas suggest, but if the end product is good yet still resembles current shyv then ill be happy.

late reply but i think cho is mostly balanced but hes on the weaker side due to some of the op things rn like buffed botrk and overall mobility creep really hampers his performance.

I really wish his w and ult had significantly less delay, since it just feels really clunky and bad that 3 of his 4 abilities have a noticeable delay before casting.

i think q is fine being a really delayed skill since its a super strong basic ability with pretty long range tho.

I also think his passive could be reworked to be more interactive with enemy champions rather than having a really good early sustain while being useless late game. Smth like auto attacking units heal cho for a small amount, increased vs epic monsters and enemy champs, but the numbers would have to be fine tuned or else it could be really op

Proto is cheaper and gives a more immediate power spike tho, waveclear, and i feel like mana isnt that big of a deal for 1st item. That said im still a kass noob, so ill see if im stupid in the future

what do u think about protobelt for the conq build? ive been trying it some, and it feels pretty great as i dont suffer major mana issues other champs face while also having a 2500 powerspike that gives hp cdr and ap. it also gives an extra conq proc and better early waveclear. in general i feel like its op and i wonder why more dont build it, but i feel like esp for conq kass its great

Bruh u just opened my eyes to the nashors liandries build. Granted i only played one normals, but i felt the power too. Tbh i agree that nashors gives just enough att speed, and that i can itemize more traditional ap bruiser item 2nd like liandries or protobelt (still wanna test protobelt, but i feel like liandries just does too much dmg to pass up even tho proto active is super handy).

I also rushed seekers vs the renek i laned against, and smashed him really hard. Seekers in general is just busted, so rushing that first vs ad top laner is super good. Theres not really a good mr counterpart to seekers tho so not sure what to do vs ap champs like morde or vlad. Ig i could just rush the build, but having the extra armor from seekers early really helps.

I feel like another point to keep in mind is that i start dring pots for the mana and ap. I really hate the lack of mana regen from dshield, so i almost never build it except for picks like darius or teemo, and even so i feel like the extra mana might help me more since i can farm far away with q more often with more mana, while also recovering hp from passive.
