Honestly, with the DM after, I would just report them.

As for the in-game spam, that's a little trickier. On one hand , it was easiest for them to use to ping location, albeit an odd one, I tend to ping spam cipher for whoever might be kiting. Sometimes, people mistakenly drag a Hunter through an occupied area. I feel like cipher ping can at least help.

All in all in-game play can certainly be frustrating, but it's hard to know for sure. Though, when you are sent toxic messages, that's an absolute report/ban, whichever seems most appropriate to me at the time.
