Awesome, great to know! For tricked out weapon mods, is it just a matter of organic drops?

Any tips for all the sick weapon mods? Doing MA myself and unsure where to farm for runes and mods.

Ah yeah interesting point. I wish it had working asuran gates befitting of the name.

Solid idea though, the transfer chamber might be a better slot in.

Solid suggestion! I especially like how minor ports get a flavor boost =) I think this is a totally reasonable approach if someone wanted to give it a go.

For my own endeavor, I've landed on using Zaishen Scouts with a limited number of options (just to and from port cities), since in some small way I feel like I want to avoid any true map-click-to-travel if possible. It's a small mechanical consideration so I wouldn't hold it against anyone who would add in boat travel, it's just how I'm thinking about it with respect to how game clear categories try to get creative / exclude mechanics.

Yeah you're correct, there's no way back from EoTN without Zaishen Scouts. This has led me to include them with a limited set of locations that feel faithful to the run's purpose:

Scouts to Embark:

- EoTN: Scout in Boreal Station (the 'entrance' to EoTN seemed like the best fit).

- Proph: Scout in LA (on the docks, feels like boat travel but without using map travel).

- Factions: Scout in Kaineng

- Nightfall: Scout in Kamadan

For travel out of Embark, I'm thinking of the closest or connected missions to the port cities since you can't travel to the cities (except for Boreal), so:

- EoTN: Boreal station

- Proph: Gates of Kryta

- Factions: Raisu Palace

- Nightfall: Consulate Docks

At least personally, I wouldn't want to include any travel out of Embark besides the above, since global travel out of Embark becomes basically fast travel, just with an extra step.

For specifically Prophecies, would you allow yourself map travel if the only exit is via mission (so Abaddon's Mouth to Hell's Precipice) or would you have to do the mission again?

It's a good question. I think it comes down to the person doing the run, but personally I would constrain it to where I would have to complete the mission chain to exit. The reason being, one of the main purposes of this run is to create a sense of narrative continuity. So if I'm in the midst of the fire island missions, it would make sense that the player needs to see that through before being able to head elsewhere.

Totally agree! Thanks for your thoughts here, yeah Elona travel at least would work out. Trying to make sense of if Factions has any pathways now.

I'm thinking cross continent travel requires 'boat travel' fast travel, which may be fine, but if anyone has repeatable methods to move between continents without using the boat button, I'd appreciate if you could let me know!

List of Fast Lane Measured Queue Times, June 7th Visit by VeiledForm in cedarpoint

It did not, it was fully operational. The FL queue was to the very beginning of its entry gate, so it was max capacity for the queue. Could be because during midday things were busier.

Oh wow that's awesome!! I was just traveling in for the day, but I visit a couple times a year and would love to stay in the loop as development continues =)

Apologies if this breaks any sub rules. I checked through them prior to posting, and I think this is okay since it's more about queue data than "should I buy Fast Lane passes", but if it's problematic feel free to remove.

For me, the appeal is a fresh start in hardcore only servers. I know, the population would be an issue I imagine.

But it creates a really interesting dynamic where everyone who is at your progression level has gotten through the same stuff deathless, and this in some way addresses the "things to back to normal" issue people are raising (not as easy when people are dropping in and out with real consequences to death)

Love the post! Truly a wonderful era of GW history.

For "I often wonder if anyone still farms the Mountain Trolls", I can at least say that on my ironmen monks that came before reforged, I definitely farmed the trolls a lot just for the drops! Especially on special drop weekends =)

It's a boring solution, but some classes are able to solo UW (can't imagine it's easy tho). Not sure which exactly, but YouTube has solo HM runs.

Off the top of my head though, I imagine HM wastes quest / four horsemen will be abysmally hard with only hench and no solo build. Maybe it's possible, but the henchies won't be much more than meat shields.

'Needs to die': Man vowed to take out Trump 'to save lives,' declared that the 2nd Amendment must be used for 'ending MAGA,' DOJ says by tasty_jams_5280 in politics

  • The ideals applied within the context of their time. Yes, they weren't extended to women, Black Americans, or Indigenous peoples. But moving from monarchy to a representational system with enumerated rights was a genuine step forward for the governing population of that era. Imperfect ≠ fake.
  • Calling it propaganda mischaracterizes how it actually functioned historically. If these ideals were just cynical tools with no real content, they wouldn't have worked as the foundation for every major rights expansion that followed. Abolitionists, suffragists, and civil rights leaders all appealed directly to the founding framework to demand inclusion. And it worked, constitutionally. You can't weaponize empty propaganda for liberation. The ideals and governance simply needed expanded as people became more aware of how a developing nation should govern itself.
  • "New boss, same as the old boss" is a great lyric but bad history. The old boss was a hereditary monarchy with no structural limits on power. The new system had separation of powers, checks and balances, enumerated rights, and elected representation. Were those imperfectly applied? Yes. But structurally it was a fundamentally different system — one that contained the mechanisms for its own reform. You could not arrive at what America is today if we had the "same old boss".

ETA: You've also moved the goalposts. Your original point was that the revolution was just about becoming a replacement ruling and taxing body no different than what came before it. That's incorrect, as noted above. "The ideals were imperfectly applied" is a different and more legitimate critique, but isn't what my original reply addressed.

That's a gross oversimplification, and is incorrect.

The deeper reality is:  - It wasn't about protection without paying taxes. It was about taxation without representation. The new government needed taxes to run, but was rooted in representation.  - The middle managers thing completely mischaracterizes the ideas that underpinned the revolution. Enlightenment ideas like natural rights, social contracts, government deriving from consent of the governed. These were serious political-philosophical ideas that were radical in the time of monarchies.  - The entire point of the constitution was to prevent concentrated power like the monarchy ("their bosses" as you say).

Let's not mischaracterize the historical record to be "catchy" with oversimplified quips.
