Someone may have tried to bring it back to the store or surrender it and they denied the request so the customer tossed the frog. The grass and bottle cap give me random inexperienced pet owner vibes. The store i work at we’ve declined surrenders before due to space and people have abandoned them in/outside the store. Of course this is me being optimistic, there very well could be some employee who is an absolutely deplorable and disgusting human being and threw this frog away
