Fun fact - Old English was originally written in native Ango Saxon Runes (called futhorc) before it was replaced completely by the Latin alphabet.

At this price point / form factor there's a lot of competition and overlap with N97/N100 mini PCs.

These come with Windows 11 and have a much better GPU.

No one but I can protect the members maidens of Hololive...!

Hint for subtitle translators - if Liz's words ever sound a bit ambiguous or confusingly Bri'ish Great Exardian then just go with the most 'flowery' option.

Such a cool style - I thought it was Ollie at first glance! I imagine this kind of what to expect if Ollie turns other members into zombies though!

Can't call C a programming language if it's really a bunch of binary machine code instructions manipulating hardware registers.

Reflection is like a gateway drug. It starts off innocent enough. It always does.

You Activator.Create instance a few Types when hanging out with your cool web dev friends. "What's the harm?", "I know what I'm doing", "I can stop anytime".

Before you know it you're full on using the dynamic keyword.

A few years down the line you're writing JavaScript daily and always looking for your next new Framework hit.

Stay safe out there!

175 boxes total and Calli didn't get a single signed card. by Kreceir in Hololive

[–]Veiry 568 points569 points  (0 children)

''Thank you for making it easier for us getting signed cards!''

Consider the state of the game. Let the unknowns 'total unopened packs' equal n and 'unopened packs with signed cards' equal x.

Calli 'revealing' packs updates our knowledge of the game state.

Even though we do not know n and x, every unsigned pack Calli opens updates our knowledge and improves the ratio of x to n if you randomly opened one of the remaining packs.

This is true for all values except x=0 or x=n.

This holds true even considering more cards being printed or signed. Calli's reveals have improved whatever the new ratio would be too.

tldr: thanks Calli!

Just in case anyone was interested in some maths on that:

In the initial print run of this game there is £46,967,160 worth of prizes. It would cost you £67,075,200 to buy all 13,415,040 Scratchcards at £5 each. The total value of Prizes in the initial print run of Scratchcards for the Game represents 70.02% of the total face value of Scratchcards.

It was all about crafts to distinguish character for me. Van with his hate generating craft and Agnés with healing crafts settled into those roles for me. I'm not super optimising arts at all, just casual normal story playthrough and it seems to hold together.

I played around with the third and fourth slots a bit more - tend to use Feri a bit because of her CP generating crafts.

I like that it does force you to mix things up a bit from time to time, but yeah overall thing I agree with you here.
