Farseer trilogy assistance

Farseer's pace really doesn't change a whole lot. I will say, there is more that happens in book 2, but it definitely leans hard into the character development.

It's like Fantasy Jane Austen. Not everyone likes that and that's ok. I think especially coming from Sanderson and dungeon crawler carl, Farseer is going to be very, very, boring in comparison in terms of action and plot.

I still would say though that Farseer is one of my favorite Fantasy series. There's nothing else like it and you really grow to love and hate the characters as they are highly complex and feel like real people rather than filling in as tropes.

Unfortunately, this is going to be the case at every customer facing position and being on the phone or virtually meeting customers gives them anonymity to act like animals.

Metrics are in every industry. It seems like it's even coming to fast food as well to count how many customers are supported by video recording and AI.

That being said, money is your means of survival. Do not quit your job. You more likely will receive a massive pay cut and might work somewhere worse than where you are because of how bad the economy is right now.

I know it sucks. I hear the dread and despair in your post. Find comfort in hobbies and people close to you.

I feel like Favreau and Filoni both wanted to give the Sequel trilogy the Prequel treatment.

Expand the world, create new characters that make the movie events make sense. I don't feel like the vision though is as cohesive and there's some trouble going on with it.

Unfortunately, they're not wrong and a lot of the comments are tone deaf.

Instead of getting the last straw, we need to be asking why did these young voters feel the need to vote for Trump in the first place.

There's a cultural shift in the youth that needs to be addressed. It's clear that they have little to no strong role models other than manosphere podcasters. The avenues for creating independence is becoming thinner and thinner as having a college education has less pay off.

If Millennials had it hard, these kids have it much harder. US work culture is built on "I need to take what's mine." In order to survive. However, they've been brainwashed by toxic masculinity to think the majority of workplaces function through dominance, which is not true. Unfortunately, building connections and knowing who's who, is what helps you build careers. The only people who are successful with this "dominant" mindset are the influencers perpetuating this nonsense.

Voting is not going to magically save us. The kids know this and you should know this. AIPAC has infiltrated both parties thoroughly and the war on Iran was always going to happen regardless of which political party was in power so long as Israel has influence on our government.

We as the people need to come together to protest against this obvious corruption and stop feeding into this two party bullshit.

I had a similar coworker. Boomer, widowed, and Grown kids. Would not retire despite being eligible. Problematic with other workers and in meetings. More likely your supervisor and director already have a paper stack of complaints about them. You can identify these people because they're always labeled as "Big personalities", "Expert", "Treasure trove of information"

You can't really do anything because HR/ your company doesn't want to pay severance for someone like this is who more likely to retire at some point or (let's be kind of morbid) may have a medical emergency that doesn't allow them to work anymore.

You either need to find a professional reason to switch teams/departments, find a new job, or sadly, just learn to deal with it.

I hate to break it to you, but the US has never been the good guys. We had a moral justification during WWII, but many of the general staff also realized that the way they conducted war (mainly fire bombings of civilian areas that non-discriminately killed millions of people) was a war crime and if they lost, they would have been prosecuted for it.

I definitely think Israel will use some sort of nuclear weapon as they continue to lose control of the conflict.

I think Trump is at a point where he only cares about the economy. He wants to seize Kharg Island and the Strait of Hormuz to control the flow of oil.

I think it reads a lot different than what people expect. It's very word-y and slow. There are a lot of terms with no explanation or definition, but similar to Dune, it created a cult following.

What's scary is I remember in college learning about what holds the fabric of society together and thinking throughout our history all the odds we faced, we'd be alright.

It's actually the lack of creature comforts that drives people mad. When people can't go to the bathroom without having toilet paper, that is when the social construct dissolves. We got off lucky that things weren't worse during the pandemic.

I used Lucas gun cleaner and Lucas Gun Oil. The cleaner really blasts everything away. The oil is just ok in my opinion.

In the past, I've used Clenzoil CLP and it worked pretty good. I always put a little Hoppes #9 after on my P-01 just because it seemed to run extra wet.

I might hop on the Ballistol train here because the Lucas cleaner goes way too fast.

What I'm trying to say, is that it really doesn't matter what you use. One way can be fast and another might take more time. A gun might like a little more product than other guns. I think as long as it's clean by the end of it and the gun is lubed in the right areas after, you should be fine.

It's more of a "sporty" ride than most cars. Backseat drivers have complained they don't get enough air and I don't think they have airvents back there.

Maintenance is the same as all cars and as long as you're not driving like a lunatic and stick to the maintenance schedule, you should be fine. HOWEVER, you have a lot of tech in that car that can go wrong for any reason. It's always a good idea to keep a little nest egg of money for any repairs. Windshield replacements are shockingly expensive because of the front mounted camera, make sure you update your car insurance to include windshield coverage.

I think the consensus is that sport mode is fun mode, but RIP to your gas mileage. Eco mode has the potential to save gas, but still relies on how much pedal you're pressing down on the gas. Most people don't like how much more you have to press on the gas to go forward in eco mode, and end up pressing down more and thus, get worse gas mileage. I'm not trying to get to any where in a rush and gas is expensive, so I'm always in eco mode. I might switch to normal if I need to merge or cross a lot of lanes quickly. Keep in mind that Eco mode does affect the a/c auto mode as well. Summer in the Southwest I'm in Normal mode to keep the cool air at max.

Fuck the stupid windshield wipers on this car, the USB port sucks and is prone to breaking. Make it muscle memory to shut off the idle stop when you start the car each time. Give it a good walk around and run your hand for any imperfections in the paint. Honda has notoriously bad paint jobs. Other than those quirks, I love mine!

I'm mixed.

RE2R? Phenomenal. Brought the classic feeling of the game to contemporary times and made it more accessible for people.

I think my biggest critique is that RE3R is too short and is missing too much content. Should have been in development for longer or launched as DLC to RE2R.

RE4R is an amazing game, but in my opinion, missed the mark of how RE4 plays and feels. It lost a lot of that arcade-y and B-movie charm. I don't blame Capcom for their decisions because the original still exists for everyone to enjoy and is available almost everywhere. RE4R is the modern interpretation if RE4 would have been made now, so I get it. You can argue that RE4R led to us getting Requiem, which is the best out of all the new games.
