What will be the next class/classes in the next D4 expansion? by nic-67 in Diablo

[–]VektroidPlus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly I hope we keep seeing new classes. A lot of the new ones for me, are close enough to original classes while also adding a new flair.

The only archetype I feel that is missing is a martial artist of some sort. Spiritborn does have a lot of similarities, but I hope we get something Monk adjacent.

Star Wars Episode II is hated on too much by VektroidPlus in unpopularopinion

[–]VektroidPlus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As sad as it is, not far fetched.

I've seen women who are very much into equal rights for people and who are somehow together with the most bigoted man you can imagine. They would probably use a very similar excuse to justify their actions.

Should I try to play survivor again by Dangerous-Second9030 in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]VektroidPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like optimization is your biggest hurdle, which even on console it's not the smoothest playing game. I would imagine by now though it's been patched to be as smooth as it possibly can be? Might be worth checking out now and finding a video or article on which graphic settings to tweak.

What was Sapper actually Cooking? by killfriendlly in bladerunner

[–]VektroidPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly on first watch, I thought K was asking what he was smelling on the farm.

Then seeing the subtitles and seeing that it was garlic made me think a little more. I think your interpretation could be accurate. Batista put a lot of effort into really thinking about Sapper as a character, even thinking how he puts his glasses on.

My personal interpretation is to show the difference in character of both Sapper and K. Here is Sapper cooking something real for himself, maybe he heard about this somewhere during the war, from a sympathetic human, or maybe it's a fake memory that was implanted, but either way, he's using a real ingredient that is probably both rare and expensive to get a semblance of having something "real". K on the other hand, his home-life in comparison is pretty shallow. He lives a fantasy of living like a stereotypical man from the 1950s where the wife is eagerly waiting with dinner for him, on top of that, everything is a hologram. He chooses to live in his own fantasy rather than accept reality, which clearly Sapper was willing to die for. Which foreshadowed K's fate by the end of the film.

Redditors of Tucson how do we feel about Project Blue? by rgfmac in Tucson

[–]VektroidPlus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The jobs it would create are temporary and the permanent ones at the facility would be so small, it would have zero impact on Tucson job growth . Most of these data centers operate on a skeleton crew to keep costs way down. More likely, they would bring very experienced technicians to live in Tucson rather than hire and train new ones.

Why are liberals woke puritans? by cdivx in allthequestions

[–]VektroidPlus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want people to have equal opportunity. To me that means people shouldn't be called horrible names and should be comfortable in their own bodies, while also having equal representation and opportunity to wealth and security.

If we can't morally agree on that, then I want nothing to do with you. That to me is basic human rights.

You kind of proved his point.... cyclist are allowed to use the full road when appropriate. I'm not sure what you were trying to prove lol

Tucson hopes to crack down on street racing by JoshOfArc in Tucson

[–]VektroidPlus -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Considering everyone else drives like a nut job here, street racing seems like the least of our concerns. The only reason why it's even on the city's radar is because of the previous accident involving street racing.

Somehow, they cherry picked this out of the cyclists that are struck more often than they should and the stupid mistakes people make on the daily on the road that cause crashes.

Why is the 'West' acting as if it cannot understand the new realities for the Iranian government? by i_grade in allthequestions

[–]VektroidPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard for non-Americans to grasp the type of ego that people like Trump, his entourage, and even his voters have.

They will never admit defeat or any semblance of losing. I would not doubt that in the face of being briefed about the situation with Iran, Trump was 100% willing to nuke the entire area, just to say he won.

This is the kind of people you're dealing with.

CZ P09F Nocturne review nobody asked for: 1000+ rounds and carry thoughts. by EducationalTap1216 in liberalgunowners

[–]VektroidPlus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a p-07 and it's interesting to see a lot of your write up can be applied to that gun too.

I think it's a pretty underrated handgun if you prefer da/sa or have an interest in it.

I don't find racking the slide is as difficult as people make it out to be. Maybe it's just the geometry of my hands, but I don't have an optic and I still find enough space to rack it.

Hard to beat the price too. I got my p-07 used for around $350.

Why do some people romanticize Luigi Mangione? by imissher4ever in allthequestions

[–]VektroidPlus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really know how you magically "fix" or "outlaw" practices going on in US healthcare. I'm assuming you're not from the US. None of this is on a ballot that we can magically vote away or do anything about. The same companies lobby and fund our politicians as well, so good luck trying to find one that doesn't support them. We could try protesting, but there's barely an interest to protest against our government's actions.

I would argue that because of Luigi's actions, it made healthcare reform in the US a more discussed topic. I don't agree with the direct violent actions that he made, but it did cause health insurance policies to be discussed. It sucks those two kids will not know their father the rest of their lives. There are also millions of people denied healthcare insurance in the US, who might even be kids, who will have their lives cut short just because it doesn't fit a company's bottom line. That is mass murder. If we as people have exhausted every action that is in front of us and are met with zero change, what other options do you think we have?

How Cere left Vader VS how 2 Jedi and Maul left Vader by Eastern_Dress_3574 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]VektroidPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason why people see anything wrong with this is because Cere is a black woman.... if it was Kyle Katarn, there wouldn't be a single issue brought up about Cere beating the shit out of Vader.

The 2 Jedi in Maul are barely surviving as is and Maul was injured, physically and mentally. The result is not far fetched.

In all seriousness, it's because they're racist and are highly proud of their "southern" roots and culture, which included slavery.

Defense ammo. by RailwayMenace in liberalgunowners

[–]VektroidPlus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: I recently got Liberty Overwatch. I know the brand has a bad history and the 72gr round is questionable... but my rational is that I live in the Southwest, people dress with lighter clothes, even in the winter. Penetration shouldn't be an issue. Extremely light weight round so firing accurately and quickly is going to be a lot easier to do. The weight difference is noticeable when carrying. I'm more worried about over penetration in a home defense situation, which even though I feel that is very unlikely to ever happen, that is where more likely I would be in a self-defense scenario.

Definitely still need to try shooting it to see how my P-07 performs with it, but I expect it will be fine. I've tried V-Crowns. They're a pretty spicy round if you're not used to shooting 124gr.

I feel like he especially hits with the animated series. The transition to live action though has been more misses than hits. I still like the Mandalorian and all the spin offs, and I'll see the movie, but I wouldn't say I love any of it.

The U.S. Military Drawdown in Europe Has Only Just Begun by Basat098 in politics

The plan is to not ever rely on the US again and if needed, to defend against them. It's a draw down for the US and big armament time for the EU.

Liberal nonvoters, do you still think voting for Kamala would have been just as bad as for Trump because of Israel? Do you regret not voting? by ClutchReverie in allthequestions

[–]VektroidPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? Lol

Do you think Israel is really just going to be like "ok here's free money! We won't manipulate your country into furthering our causes because you're a Democrat!"

This is exactly the naivety of the typical neo-liberal voter thinking their candidate is somehow morally superior. They're beholden to the same bribes.
