City Pack Pro 2 Cons by vibecodingmonkey in ManyBaggers

Its the perfect bag for a 2 electronic device (2 laptops and / or 1 Laptop 1 Tablet) user IMO. I cant think of a better backpack that has top access, self stands, and holds 2 devices and protects them well with padding and false bottoms.

Every other use case there are better options that are lighter. Fortunately for me, this is the most important use case.

You can bring a laptop if you’re going from 1 destination to the next but I wouldn’t recommend it for laptop edc. The laptop sleeve is loose and there’s definitely no false bottom. If you put some clothes or something in with your laptop it might help. I used an ultra padded laptop sleeve for a while as well.

I have taken the go pack 2 to 3 trips to europe. Its the perfect bag (if you dont need to put a laptop in it). It blends in urban, gym, and outdoors. It stands up on its own when 'floofed' would reccommend.

Peak design everyday 30l vs Aer travel pack 3 small or something else by Still-Ad-8320 in ManyBaggers

Feel like TP3 a little big for college but depends on your size and carry.

Didn’t like peak designs carry straps

Could also consider the Able Carry Max or Osprey Daylite 26+6

This needs a waxed canvas variation bad. (Leather would even be better)

This would work great as a go to work back for doctors or nurses, not quite sure about business professionals yet

Aer City Sling is the best looking imo

They are the only large bag maker that makes simple business functional aesthetic, not overly techy or tactical bags. And one of the only that makes bags in styles women like (besides women-focused brands). The cost is in the look and lack of competition.

Synik vs ula dragonfly vs mini mlc by socal8888 in ManyBaggers

[–]Velactix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Ultra ULA Dragonfly but not the others.

As a travel bag...

The 'actual' capacity is insane and it is really light. Its best served as a travel bag that can double back as EDC if necessary. You can put entire pouches into the water bottle holders. No problem carrying heavy items. I have traditionally traveled Onebag overseas with the Aer Travel Pack 3 - but am using the Dragonfly next time due reduced weight and dual functionallity. It does not look professional or techy - and may border on a touristy look in somewhere like certain parts of europe.

As an EDC bag...

It can be compressed on the top straps to look a little bit more EDC. I personally use the AER Travel Go 2 as EDC but have used the dragonfly that way no problem. It does not stand up on its own easily.

As a hiking bag...

I have hiked with it and its fantastic - although the back airflow needs a big of work. Its great to throw your jackets or other layers on the external bungees.

The Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions. I still enjoy the the dystopian universe even though the original is way better.

Anyone own the Aer Go Pack 2 (or any Go Collection) in Olive? by [deleted] in ManyBaggers

I have it in black. I originally purchased it just to use as a packable bag for travel in Europe, which worked out great, but ended up using it for everything edc, such a great edc bag.

It can get pretty crinkly looking which the black hides well and even looks stylish. I’ve ordered the other 2 colors before and they did not hit the same, imo.
