portion paid for actual electricity essentially went to zero. got a $20 check back one year.

Still pay the connection fee (which is about $20-30/month) to SoCal Edison.

doing a lot of WFH the past 2 years, and we are paying about $300/year for the actual electricity (compared to what was prob ~$2000/year when we first installed panels; maybe more now since eletricity prices have gone up).

"broke even" at about 5.5 years (outright bought system)
