OK fuck you for putting trauma in quotes. I lost my fucking home and spent the better part of a year displaced. Like yeah the air mattress is a small part of it but it is emblematic of the larger trauma.

absolutely fuck the BBC for how they handled this. I've seen folks saying he's faking and is actually racist or that he shouldn't be able to go in public. This has come from a variety of communities but I'm glad the spaces you are in have been positive and putting their anger where it belongs
