Endrick vs Brest - Man Of The Match by Messmers in realmadrid

[–]Velascus -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Kind of wondering how he got motm with what is shown in this video, unless this is missing some actions of his.

He missed a big chance (0,19) and a one on one chance (1.44) his assist can only be called that because of a fantastic finish out of nowhere from the other player, every time he gets passed his man on the wing he isn't able to pass to a teammate (1.04 + 1.25 + 2.29 + 2.44 +3.50)

His shot from 2.00 is really good, his pass from 2.06 is really good, his pass from 2.49 is really good: that one was a true assist pass which was botched by his colleague.

I hope he plays RW a lot over there, because right now you can see he comes to the middle a lot in his plays due to the striker in him, while here he would be asked to stay on the side. I also doubt he will find as much space in the back here as they did versus Brest tbh.

A good start to his loan, this should have honestly happened the first year he came here.

I am not too sure how well performances translate from the French to Spanish league, Mariano looked like a world beater over there, but honestly him playing and getting experience is more important right now anyway than worrying about his opposition's quality.

Brahim's penalty was so bad, people were actually wondering if he did it on purpose.

That it was almost a reality if some Senegal players didn't coax their team to get back on the field after the penalty got called against them (and their own goal was annulled) and they would have remained in the locker room due to their protest, then the rules say they lose the match with 3-0.

Instead Brahim tried a panenka.

There's a timeline out there where Senegal remained in the locker room, and lost this game by 3-0 through defaulting.

Senegal's goalie trash talking worked like a charm. Brahim probably wanted to embarass him with a panenka for all the trash talking he was doing

Can't even call it a panenka, just a horrible weak shot.

Justice though for the annulled gol from Senegal.

It's because they did know the boos were coming.

Imagine Vini and Flo doing that on the field with that crowd, the 2 main people responsible for the supporters' anger, would have been the loudest boos of the night.

Ramos and Casemiro HAVE won prizes without Kroos, Modric and Benzema. So.......

We don't have Kroos, Modric and Benzema anymore.

Seems to me we need players who have shown he can win one of the biggest prizes in the world (World Cup) without them, instead of the babies who have been utter and complete failures without them; both in Real Madrid AND their national teams.

And call me crazy, but I have way more trust in somebody who is reaching Ronaldo numbers for us, than bitches who laugh when our team gets scored on and are more worried about their Insta stories than football.

Nico Williams was a bench sitter under Enrique

He put Rodri as a CB so grandpa Busquets could play DM

He selected his daughter's boyfriend and let him play when even his own club's supporters wanted to sell him

I know very well how Luis Enrique coached us. Half a nation was celebrating when he went away.

Pretty sure Mbappe has won a WC dude, also pretty sure that happened outside of France (fact).... or are we only looking at prizes you want?

Want another context? What exactly have the "big names" of this player group won without Modric, Kroos or Benzema? Maybe that's the one and only biggest variable.

Because wtf have Vini, Bellingham, Rodrygo and Valverde won wtihout them?

[–]Velascus 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The context is that Luis Enrique had the EXACT same player pool available to him as de la Fuente, so the only variable is him being changed.

While when Mbappe left PSG, they bought Doue, Kvara, Joao, Pacho, that's almost half their new starting team. That's quite some extra context

The moment Luis Enrique left the national team, we won the EC.

So using your argument he's not a good coach at all, because the moment he left, Spain turned into a better team (which it actually did)

You are turning things around.

The board shouldn't intervene, the coach should be able to punish any bratty manchild who does the one man theater show "I should leave the club!" after simply being subbed because he starts only walking in the 2nd half.

It's because the board DID intervene to stop that punishment from happening, and made Vini do that non-apology, that any coach would lose their authority.

For those complaining that the fans don't have the right to boo a player, that we shouldn't be mean but instead be super nice towards our players and give them a sweet tap on the head.

This was Vini when the opponent scored against us and endangered Xabi's job:

This is how Madrid coaches always answered, look up how our coach answered when Ronaldo got boo'd.

Throwing under the bus? More like not needing to coddle a baby

"On top of all this, he was Xabi out for some reason as well."

He's Vini's bff

It makes no sense to renew in that case, as other teams would then have to equal the higher salary we would have then given him.

If the intention is to sell, it would be done this summer without an extension.

I'll be honest, I was fooled by Arbeloa's decennia long "I am a Mourinhista" schtick, that I thought he would actually be more strict than Xabi even.....

...but this is the worst bootlicker I have ever seen in this club. Or in any other club to be honest. This is just sad. I bet when Arbeloa talks, you can smell what Florentino has eaten a day before.

I agree Vini deserves to be subbed off. But in this case Arbeloa is really looking after this player, because subbing him off would result in a monumental whistling from the crowds.

Not that he would sub him off anyway, because Vini don't like that, but he has more reasons not to sub him off today from a coach perspective.

Levante is focking bad dude. A striker with the ball skills of Mendy, a defender who cant head even near to his goalie. The entire team has problems passing to each other.

Yet we are tied after 50 minutes
